Smoking Shelter
My friends and I often go to our local pub to watch the football on a Saturday. However, since the smoking ban came in I have been going to the pub a lot less. Its not that I don`t like going to the pub with my friends, its just that as a smoker I do not like having to go outside to smoke. Our local pub even has a Smoking Shelter but it has no roof and if it is raining you end up getting wet. I would rather watch the football at home, where I don`t have to go outside to the Smoking Shelter to smooke. My friends think I am being unreasonable. Maybe they are right. I could always give up smoking and then the Smoking Shelter would not be an issue and I could enjoy going to the pub with my friends and watching football. If I did quit smoking it would no doubt improve my health and it would save an awful lot of money.

Last year, a friend of mine was made to take an Alcohol Breathalyzer after a night out in the city centre of Manchester. She had only had two small glasses of wine and a big meal but the police still suspected her of drinking and driving so she suffered the humiliation of having to stop. What was even more mortifying for her was to have to breathe into an Alcohol Breathalyzer in public. Even though she was well under the limit, the experience was really traumatic for her and it has stopped her from drinking and driving at all from that moment on.
