You may use the living room right through the day, just in the evening or only for specific tasks so you will really need a number of different levels of lighting throughout the room. Getting the proporrtions of your lights right is also important and you need to decide what type of lights will suitable. Have you got room for a big chandelier or Tiffany Lights ? Is your room small? Maybe a more compact light would be more suitable? If the corners of your room are especially dark then you may need extra light to brighten up the dark areas. Lamps, floor lights and Tiffany Lights are great for this.
